Being Different

Just read an article about the killing of albino people in Burundi — killing albino people for their body parts, to bring “good luck”. (link to article)

If you happen to be born a human being and you happen to be a bit different, it doesn’t bode well for you.

I’ve yet to see such brutality in the animal kingdom based on outward differences in the same species. Maybe it does occur, but I don’t think it’s for “luck” …..
